Congrats!!! Channel 11 also mentioned your ride in a teaser this morning (30 minutes before the ride started!) I didn't have a chance to see the noon news, but it may have been mentioned on there as well.
Malte and I did a little support-ride today to show how much we care and to stress the importance of your ride. We thought there should be some kind of equivalent on the other side of the planet as well. So we snatched our bicycles (not our racing ones but "normal gear") and did just a few pedal-turns, so to speak, proudly wearing our "VF Pedal Power Support"-Buttons! We had beautiful sunshine but quite some wind - hopefully your weather today is beautiful as well!
We keep thinking of you and deeply wish we could be there with you. I have no idea how to post the picture we took of todays support-ride - so I sent it to your home-address :-)
Hello Ed & team - I rode 32 miles today in sunny Florida and thought of you all pedaling up hill today. Sending positive thoughts along and I hope you can avoid saddle sores. You will toughen up in time. Kay in Florida
