No, not to Washington DC, but all of the work behind the scenes to promote this event. Thanks to the talents and time of Heather Nagy, Joyce Kullman, Mary Seubert and others we are putting together what appears to be an exciting and potentially well-received event.
And then there's Don Guerra who is busy with the planning of the actual ride. He is insuring that we have places to stay, vehicles to follow us, and creating some detailed maps to help us navigate.
One of the things I've been working on is a "take-a-way", 4 x 6 photo that we can put out in our workplaces, give to friends, or post up on message boards. I've shown an example of it.

Once we launch the press release the next part is getting the word out to family, friends, co-workers, etc. The VF is hoping to raise at least $5,000 via donations in support of our ride.
This blog will be linked on the VF Pedal Page website so hopefully we'll get more people to view and "join us" as we move on.
